CASE Construction Equipment hosted a stand dedicated to its advanced equipment and proudly celebrated the brand’s 180th anniversary at NAMPO South Africa.

At NAMPO 2022 Harvest Day held outside Bothaville, South Africa, the CASE brand had the opportunity to host an entire stand to showcase its industry leading equipment. This was also the first time that CASE hosted its own stand, following the acquisition of its South African distributors to strengthen its local presence.

The 570T and 570ST are the brand’s leading products, featuring the powerful S8000 engine, outstanding performance and fast response time. The CASE excavator range was represented by a 22-ton CX220C LC Heavy Duty excavator, powered by a highly fuel – efficient engine. The 821F front-end loader on display delivers best-in-class horsepower and massive torque, which combined with the strong and fast hydraulics, result in exceptional productivity and performance. The 885B Grader, with its unique mouldboard design, fuel-efficient, turbocharged engine, and rear-mounted cab, delivers high-productivity, high-precision performance, and excellent operator comfort. Two skid steer loaders, the SR150 and SR200, completed the product exhibit, known for their power and productivity and outstanding comfort and visibility in the spacious cab with ample glazed areas.

This year also marks an important milestone for CASE – 180 years of pioneering technologies and innovations that have changed the industry and earned the trust of businesses across the world. The brand commemorated its enviable legacy with an informative panel outlining key milestones and innovations in its illustrious history under the theme “Proud of our past. Focused on our future.”

Graham Forte, Divisional Managing Director, Construction segment SA, said that the entire CASE Construction team is extremely proud to be part of the company.

“Over the years, CASE Construction has shown that its excellent product range and support to its customers take precedence. We can not wait for the future and look forward to the brand’s sustainable growth within South Africa.”

Bakkies Botha, legendary Springbok Rugby Union player and CASE Construction Brand Ambassador, was a special guest at the celebration, sharing a short testimony of his experience with the machines. He said the extended range of equipment offered by CASE Construction makes his life as a farmer much easier.

“The company has a tool for every conceivable application on the farm, whether you want to dig ditches for irrigation pipes or whether you want to construct buildings.”

CASE Construction also ensured that the young CASE Fans were entertained with fun scavenger hunts for Old Abe, the Case Mascot. The kids loved the CASE Construction stand and entertainment provided by the team.

The CASE Construction merchandise shop proved to be a massive success at this years’ Nampo Harvest Day, achieving record sales compared to previous years. The new clothing range was definitely an eye-catcher.

This year’s NAMPO Harvest Day exceeded expectations with a bumper attendance of 73 000 visitors. It was a great opportunity for us to have quality discussions with producers, obtain quality leads and to establish our market presence in South Africa.
