Our SN Series Backhoe’s have recently undertaken a number of significant updates including a new industry-exclusive PowerBoost functionality, improved cab amenities and more. We’ve listed below the updates and how they will make the operation and experience of your backhoe that much easier and better.
- PowerBoost (Industry Exclusive): A new button on the right-hand backhoe joystick provides the operator with a momentary boost of increased hydraulic power without decreasing engine RPM (so as not to affect speed/cycle times). This feature is ideal for the excavating through typical tough Australian conditions and terrain, including hard clay and rock. CASE backhoes still also feature PowerLift, which again offers momentary lifting power at lower engine RPM’s providing powerful and smooth lifting and craning operations.
- New Loader Control Joystick: The loader joystick features three new switches with better ergonomics that will simplify operation of your Backhoe making it much more intuitive and natural. Through a new declutch trigger on the back of the joystick, this allows for simple operation while performing continuous/repetitive actions, such as loading trucks, etc. A new roller/rocker switch with a detent position that can be locked in the forward position for use with attachments such as brooms; and a new F-N-R switch that allows for quick and easy directional changes without ever taking a hand off the joystick.
- New Control Roller Switches: Newly enhanced roller switches for auxiliary control have been added to the backhoe pilot control joysticks for intuitive control and improved metering.
- New Cab Amenities: Given the extended length of time operators spend in our machines, we’ve has improved the seat design to incorporate new cushioning on our air-ride seats, a new premium heated, air suspension seat option with multi-coloured, hand-stitched fabric. Just like your personal car, Bluetooth radio has also been added to allow operators to safely take their phone calls, while also offering the ability to stream the music you want to hear, including SiriusXM and music from personal mobile devices.
