VKB, CASE Construction Equipment’s largest dealer in South Africa, hosts the annual VKB Bieliemieliefees festival in Reitz, RSA Eastern Free State. One of the most popular agricultural shows in the country, it attracts over 20,000 visitors every year with its showcase of the latest in equipment and technology, activities and entertainment. It also offers farmers the opportunity to exhibit their livestock and participate in competitions.
This year’s edition ran from 22nd to 25th February, providing excellent visibility to CASE and sister agricultural brand Case IH. The 570SV backhoe loader and SR150B skid steer loader on display attracted the interest of attendees to the festival. During the 4-day event, the CASE team organized activities to engage visitors: a competition to guess the weight of a bag of maize placed on the backhoe loader’s bucket and a memory card game for children. CASE and Case IH also hosted a merchandise store, offering visitors the opportunity to purchase branded items.
During the festival, the CASE team celebrated VKB’s achievements. It presented a trophy to Nico Van Der Walt, Executive Manager of Mechanization at VKB, in recognition of the dealership’s performance as the top CASE dealer for 2023. It also awarded a trophy to Petrus Erasmus for his excellent results as the VKB salesperson who sold the most CASE machines in 2023. These recognitions are a testament to the successful partnership between CASE and VKB.
