Teeing Off for a Cause: CASE Construction’s Birdie & Eagle Bash Golf Day
Driving Business Forward, One Swing at a Time
The Modderfontein Golf Club in Johannesburg, South Africa, was buzzing with excitement as approximately 140 golf enthusiasts, comprising of valued customers, suppliers, and CASE Construction staff, converged on the green for the highly anticipated Birdie & Eagle Bash Golf Day. This premier customer event provided a unique platform for networking, collaboration, and friendly competition, all while supporting a great cause.
A Hole-in-One Lineup
The day kicked off with a shotgun tee off, featuring creative tee box activities and a rare tee off from a Carrus lowbed trailer. The eleven watering holes, staffed by suppliers from various industries, ensured that players were well-hydrated and engaged throughout the game. The competition was fierce, with a 4-ball alliance format, where two scores counted, and the stakes were high.
Equipment that Impressed
The course was graced with an impressive display of CASE Construction equipment, including three TLBs, Skid Steer, and Wheel Loader. The compact and powerful CASE Skid Steer SR150B even served as a makeshift ice chest, keeping drinks icy cold in its bucket. Meanwhile, two versatile, compact, and reliable CASE TLB 570 Vs welcomed players to the course in style. CASE decorated the entrance to the course with a versatile and efficient CASE 621F Wheel Loader known for its performance, fuel efficiency, and operator comfort in various construction, agriculture, and material-handling applications.
Rain or Shine, the Show Must Go On
Even the unexpected rain could not dampen the spirits, thanks to the Make Some Noise CASE branded container, which provided shelter for players and allowed for more intentional conversations. The pause in play proved to be a blessing in disguise, as it allowed for even more networking opportunities.
Winners Take All
In the end, it was the team from East Rand Paving who emerged victorious, taking home the coveted scale modelled TLB trophies, whose names were engraved on the CASE Birdie & Eagle Bash trophy plaque as a permanent reminder of their triumph. A huge congratulations to them, and a big thank you to all our suppliers and the CASE Construction team who made this event possible.
As we approach the end of the year, the connections made, and business opportunities sparked during this event will undoubtedly bear fruit in the new year. Thank you for everyone who joined us for an unforgettable day on the green!
