Adding a CASE Crawler Excavator to Your Construction Fleet

When your construction fleet needs a heavy-duty earthmoving and digging machine, a CASE crawler excavator  is your ideal option. These machines are designed to handle large-scale digging and earthmoving duties and tasks. The crawler tracks allow them to traverse almost any terrain as well, including abrasive terrain.

If you want to add a big-boy earthmover to your construction fleet, our range of C-Series crawler excavators is bound to have a model that suits your needs. Let’s talk about heavy-duty construction machinery and how they can be implemented in today’s construction industry.

Heavy-Duty Earthmoving and Digging Applications
Our C-Series crawler excavators  feature models that weigh between 22 t and 29 t. They are ideally suited to mining and quarrying applications. They can also be used on open and empty construction sites – where there isn’t any possibility of causing damage to surrounding buildings and structures. Sitting on crawler tracks, these excavators can operate on any solid surface.

One of the biggest challenges with operating such a large vehicle is cabin visibility. The operator might not have a complete view of their surroundings, which can cause problems while swinging the digging arm. The CASE C-Series features optimal cabin visibility – with flat windows on every side of the cabin to give the operator a clean and unobstructed all-round view.

C-Series Features
The CASE C-Series stands out above the crowd, with useful functions and designs that will not only improve overall productivity and performance, but also ensure that the operator is comfortable and has optimal visibility. These crawler excavators are powered by an engine that is designed for optimal fuel efficiency – reducing the need for constant refuelling breaks.

These machines are fitted with our CASE Intelligent Hydraulic System (CIHS). This system improves cycle times and overall fuel economy without compromising power output or reducing performance. They are also fitted with Power Boost – a feature that allows the operator to adjust the machine’s power output to match the specific task at hand.

Power Boost modes include:
  • A Mode: This mode is ideal for grading, lifting, and precision tasks that require reduced power output in comparison to digging and earthmoving.
  • SP Mode: If you need a boost in speed and power output, SP Mode ensures that you have all the power that you need for maximum productivity during heavy-duty tasks.
  • H Mode: This mode offers a perfect balance between A and SP, where you can expect sufficient power generation while being fuel-efficient.
Auto Power Boost Mode allows the vehicle to automatically increase hydraulic pressure when needed. This can allow for accommodating swing speeds, breakout force, swing torque, and cycle times during operations. As a result, you have a crawler excavator that is designed for optimal performance, no matter the task or environment.

Celebrating the Power of Women in Construction: CASE Construction Equipment Leads the Way

Every year on the 9th of August, South Africa celebrates Woman’s Day, a public holiday commemorating the historic march of 200,000 women to the Union Buildings in Pretoria to protest the then government's discriminatory pass laws on the 9th of August 1956. Today, Women’s Day celebrates the social, economic, and political contributions of women in South Africa.
