Wheeled Excavators

CASE wheeled excavators are powered by a brute 170 hp B4.5 or B6.7 engine. They are EGR-free and perform after-treatment system cleaning automatically, with no operator intervention or impact to machine performance.

You get three pre-set power modes plus one user-customizable mode to achieve the performance you need. Power mode gives you 20% more horsepower and speed. Standard mode is ideal for everyday work. Eco mode gives you fuel savings. Or you can set your own parameters for engine speed, idle speed, pump power and flow.

You can customize your CASE wheeled excavator to fit your needs with four lower-frame options with a combination of dozer blade and stabilizer options, allowing you to achieve similar footing to a crawler excavator.

The twin tire design provides enough stability for daily work while reducing the chances of downtime due to flat tires. Pneumatic and solid tires are available.

Because there’s no time to waste, you can achieve top travel speeds of 25 mph (40 km/h) thanks to the heavy-duty axles and a hydrostatic transmission. Front oscillating steering axle gives the operator more control and stability, and permanent 4WD means you have the power and grip you need.

All models give you added comfort and confidence thanks to standard cruise control to keep the machine at a constant speed. Ride control active accumulators on the boom cylinders keep attachments stable under rough and bumpy conditions. It’s just one more example of our operator-first focus on comfort.

The trailer hitch mounting plate is available with electrical connector and trailer dump auxiliary line. The hitch allows the towing of utility trailers with attachments, material needed for the job, or the spoils of your day’s work.

A two-piece boom is standard on all models to increase working range. It’s great for confined spaces and allows digging, lifting and handling much closer to the machine. There’s also an optional monoboom available on most models that allows for improved lifting capacity at full extension and provides a traditional excavator operating experience.

Joystick steering up to 6.2 mph (10km/h) means accurate maneuvering at low speed.

And all CASE wheeled excavators are true tool carriers with high flow for one-way and two-way flow attachments and a quick coupler auxiliary line standard. An optional low flow circuit is also available for precise controllability with more sensitive attachments.

An optional Leica 2D Precision package is available, and you can add a tilt rotator as well as a diverse line of work tools from asphalt cutters to pallet forks.

You should dig your surroundings while you dig. So, we put operator comfort first. Look inside a new CASE wheeled excavator, and you’ll see it’s roomy inside with large glass surfaces for exceptional visibility. All models come with an air-suspension, heated, high back seat. There are ergonomically positioned controls with plenty of features at your fingertips, as well as an 8” touchscreen display and separate camera display for excellent all-around visibility. The 8” monitor is multi-use with a central instrument panel, control machine functions and settings, safety features and integrated auto A/C.

There’s also an optional smart ignition key with push-to-start button for added security. And a standard Auto Braking feature to improve operator confidence and save time during start and stop operations.

We partnered with only the best componentry suppliers to deliver quality and reliability for engines, pumps and all components. You get long service intervals for main components:

• 800-hour engine oil and filters
• 1,000-hour fuel filters
• 5,000-hour hydraulic oil

And many of the consumables are easily accessible and can be serviced from ground level. There’s also a standard programmable reversible fan.

The safety features on the all-new CASE wheeled excavators are second to none.

You get standard rear radar object detection up to 32 ft 9 in (10 m) on all conventional tail swing models. It works in any weather conditions and gives you reliable detection day and night. You also get a standard CASE maximum view monitor. It provides plenty of perspective, offering 360-degree camera visibility, a bird’s-eye view and intelligent moving object detection up to 16-ft 5 in (5 m) around the machine on all models.

There is a swing lock for enhanced worksite safety. And, for added safety, standard hose burst check valves for front axle oscillation cylinders, blade cylinders, arm cylinder and boom cylinders with overload warning system. Additional optional cab protection is also available.
