CASE Construction Equipment recently had five products named to Construction Equipment’s 2014 Top 100 New Products list. The five products are the SR210 skid steer, the 1221F wheel loader, the M Series dozers, the F Series compact wheel loaders and the CX350D excavator.

The Top 100 awards are designed to recognize the top equipment of the year based on advances in technology, new product lines, significant improvements to existing products and increasing competition in the field. The list is compiled based on editor’s reviews and nominations.

“The Top 100 Products Award program was conceived to call special attention to the most significant new products announced each year,” says Rod Sutton, editorial director, Construction Equipment magazine. “These awards serve to emphasize innovations, highlighting manufacturers who are investing in research and development. Their investments pay off for equipment users in the form of greater productivity, efficiencies and safety. They also ensure a competitive marketplace.”

“The five Construction Equipment Top 100 awards reflect CASE’s commitment to developing intuitive and practical innovations that deliver meaningful improvements to our customers’ business,” says Jim Hasler, vice president – North America, CASE Construction Equipment. “This pace of practical equipment evolution will continue as we launch new products in 2015 that combine the best in global engine technology with proven systems that make equipment operation more productive and efficient.”

More on the CASE Construction Equipment winners:

The SR210 radial-lift skid steer is a Tier 4 Final model that features EZ-EH controls and best-in-class torque, breakout force and standard auxiliary hydraulic flow. It features one of the largest cabs and lowest entry thresholds in the industry, improving operator comfort.

The 1221F, the largest model in the F-Series wheel loader line, features an 11.9-liter Tier 4 Interim-certified engine that delivers up to 355 horsepower. The loader is built for heavy earthmoving and loading applications such as those encountered in aggregate and mining operations. Enhancements to the engine and transmission at maximum travel speed allow for increases in productivity of at least 18 percent and fuel efficiency of at least 8 percent.

The M-Series dozer line includes five models ranging from 92 to 214 horsepower with best-in-class drawbar pull, the first selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology built into a dozer, fuel savings up to 14 percent, industry leading visibility, new versatile controls and a pressurized cab for optimal comfort.

The F-Series line of compact wheel loaders have been completely redesigned and offers a more compact design while simultaneously increasing breakout force and lift capacity.

The CX350D hydraulic excavator is the first model of the new D Series. The CX350D employs cooled exhaust gas recirculation, selective catalytic reduction and a diesel oxidation catalyst, and yields up to 8 percent greater fuel efficiency compared to previous models. It also provides up to 12 percent faster cycle times and 6 percent greater breakout force, made possible by advances to the CASE Intelligent Hydraulics System and other systems throughout the machine.

The awards will be announced in the magazine’s December 2014 issue.
